Firefox doesn't format correctly

Firefox doesn't format correctly

Postby mrbrown38 on Sun Dec 20, 2009 12:41 pm

So I got the portal installed and it looks AWESOME on Internet explorer! Though some users are reporting that it does not look correct on Firefox, and they are right. It looks like either a chunk or code is missing or maybe the portal was created with IE in mind and not other browsers? I'm at a lose, and would appreciate the help =).

Check it out in IE, then Firebox and you'll see what I mean.

I'm sorry, but you have to make a choice
Firefox or Internet Explorer

Please wait till 2.0 comes out.

Haha is that really your advice? one or the other you can't have both...

the portal should run in both browser's with no problems. it's most likely your theme that's causing the issue in FF, switch to prosilver and see if it looks fine in both IE and FF, if so then it's your theme and that's something you will have to work out with the creator of the theme. from what i can see though you defiantly have an issue in the theme. I didn't pull the source of the page up but when I looked at it I can see broken code.

Also don't get your hopes up for this version 2.0 there talking about, until Gamefreak showed up here in Nov, there hasn't been any administrators or code updates or anything for a very long time.

like I said back in this post last oct.

as Gamefreak has said he's not a developer and there has been no sign's of the dev's for a year and a half. this is exactly why I left this portal and started using and coding for portal at http://www.board3.de
