I created a wow recruitment block with ACP features
I'm pritty new to this coding stuff. So any feedback or bugs you find lemme know an I will fix them or add in new ideas

Features -
All options can be changed in the ACP.
Show/Hide the recruitment block on the portal.
Show/Hide classes on the block. Block will dynamicly resize.
Change the status text of each class (up to 10 characters).
Status text's can have a URL which links to your recruitment forums or application form.
Change the color of the status text with HEX values.

To install -
Download recruitment_block.zip from below.
Do the edits required in install.txt. Upload all files to your server. Overwrite all files if asked.
Load up your forums then go to - ACP >> System >> Administration Control Panel >> Portal >> Portal



In the bottom right hand corner, click the top drop down box an select 'Recruitment' under the section PORTAL [acp_portal]
Now click 'Add Module'.



When the page refreshes, click 'Enable' on the recruitment module.

Now go into the - Portal tab >> Recruitment
Edit your new recruitment block as required

Purge the cache an visit your portal to see your new recruitment block.

Problems -
Help! The images are not showing up on the block!!!!
Edit recruitment.html which can be found in - root >> styles >> your style >> template >> portal >> block
Edit the lines of code to reflect where the images are on your server.

Looks nice, will try it out tomorrow.

But is it possible for you to add the Deathknight class? And also possible to some kind of Progression block for the players who do PvE?

It already supports deathknight. Check the 2nd screenshot.
The block screenshot is one I took before when I first made the recruitment block a few months ago.

I can try having a go at a progress block to support the new raids which are coming up in wrath.

I also thought about a block which worked with phpraider showing you what raid is on that day with a quick signup link.

Hey great plugin... However I was unable to install it properly. I copied the files into root and purged cash however the system -> ACP -> portal -> portal did not see the recruitment thing to enable it.

Perhaps there is something missing? Or can you provide more detailed installation instructions..

Yes, it's xampp, I prefer trying things before uploading it on server
And I also can't find the "Recruitment" part on the portal tab in the ACP.

ok bare with me.
Im uploading a test forums an portal to see what is wrong.

Did you guys go into the System Tab > Adminstration Control Panel > Portal > Portal > Recruitment?

Possible to edit it to work for Warhammer Online?

Also cannot see a recruitment thing to enable as users above.

Ok I managed to make it appear in the portal admin part, but cannot get the block to show on the actual forum.

Ok Updated first post with more detailed install instructions.
Fixed a typo with the file name portal.php which was named portal.php.php

Using your portal.php file I get:

If I add the missing code to my portal.php file from yours I get this:

I am using the dwefault portal.php file.

OK it should be fixed now.
The reason you guys are getting trouble with portal.php is because the portal.php file i used in the zip has the forums an portal loctaion edited for my forums and i have the portal in a differant loctaion.

I have attached the default portal.php file with the required edits for the recruitment block to work.
Just download an replace your portal.php.
